Jonathan Roumie posted days earlier that he had filmed his last scene as Jesus. Jenkins wrote on Roumie’s page that he left everything on the floor. Austin Reed Alleman, who plays Nathanael, posted side-by-side photos from his first day on set, October 13, 2020, and his last, September 24. Joey Vahedi’s Thomas thanked fans on Instagram. Giavani Cairo hung up Thaddeus’s costume and sandals. Lara Silva marked the series wrap for Eden.
Jenkins told fans in a Thursday video that he prayed that morning and said to God, “What a thing You did, what a thing You’ve done.” He started the series in 2018 after The Resurrection of Gavin Stone flopped, scrambling for money and locations, unsure the show would clear a first season. Crosswalk put the wrap in that frame: the pandemic bounce, the livestream fundraising, ChosenCon, and a cast whose careers got tied to the show.

What wrapped is production. What did not wrap is the watch order fans still have to buy. November is Prime. December is Fox. March is a crucifixion Friday in theaters. Season 7, Crosswalk said, does not arrive until spring 2028. The desk that just wrote the Fox Magi special is looking at a finished camera card and an unfinished public slate.
How a faith series ends its shoot before its hardest season airs is the shape of this machine now. Come and See and Amazon already own the windows. The open question is whether a wrap video lands harder than the November premiere, or whether fans who cried on set with Jenkins have to wait until spring 2027 to see the pictures that finished the work.
